At 7:51 PM, the West Whiteland Fire Company was dispatched to the Westbound Route 30 Bypass in the area of mile marker 282 for a reported auto accident with fire. Upon arrival, Deputy 6 found a single vehicle with the engine compartment well off. Engine 6-1 pulled a line and extinguished the fire. Crews proceeded to provide hazard control and traffic control until the roadway was reopened.

Shortly after clearing the bypass, Station 6 was dispatched to assist Station 47 (Lionville Fire Company) with a house fire in West Pikeland. Engine 6-1, Ladder 6, and Rescue 6 all made the response. Crews were released shortly after arriving on scene.
