At 3:56 PM, the West Whiteland Fire Company was dispatched to a fire alarm on James Hance Court. Deputy 6, Engine 6-1, and Ladder 6 made the response. Upon arrival, it was determined to be a false alarm and units went available. While returning to the station, the company was alerted for an auto accident with a vehicle reported overturned at Ship Road and Sunrise Boulevard. Deputy 6, Engine 6-1, and Rescue 6 responded. Upon arrival, crews found one vehicle versus a utility pole. 1 patient was transported to the hospital and crews provided hazard and traffic control. Expect Ship Road to be closed between Sunrise Boulevard and Valley Hill Road for an extended period of time for utility repairs.
