On Sunday April 28 at 6:39PM The West Whiteland Fire Company was dispatched to the 1400 block of Ship Road for a residential fire. Engine 56 and Engine 6-2 arrived moments apart, crews from Goshen Fire Company pulled a hand line while crews from West Whiteland went to the roof and began roof ventilation. The fire was quickly extinguished and determined to be under control. We are happy to report there were no injuries.
