On 8/8/23 at 8:18 pm The West Whiteland Fire Company was alerted for a commercial building fire in Downingtown. A full company response was made and the fire was upgraded to 3 alarms. Engine 6-1 laid all of it’s 2000’ of supply line to the scene while ladder 6 set up its main to gain access to the upper floors of the tower. Engine 6-2 supplied Ladder 6 with a 300’ attack line and crews worked on supressing the fires on the upper floors. Units returned to West Whiteland just before 11PM.
