Today, 15 members from the West Whiteland Fire Company traveled to Station 49 (East Brandywine Fire Company) to participate in a training class taught by Battalion Chief Brian Bastinelli of the Harrisburg Bureau of Fire. Todays training focused on scene size up and as well as tactical considerations that fire departments should keep in mind to operate effectively, efficiently and cohesively while operating on the fire ground. We would like to thank Chief Vince D’Amico, Chief Bastinelli, and the entire crew at East Brandywine Fire Company for their hospitality , and for the opportunity to train for the future.
