At 9:58am, West Whiteland Fire was dispatched to the area of Sunset Ln and Oriole Dr for a smoke investigation outside. Units arrived and determined there was an active brush fire. Engine 6-1 stretched a line to extinguish the fire , while Engine 6-2 and Rescue 6 assisted in overhaul . The fire was safely extinguished and the crews returned to station.
