At 8:31 AM, the West Whiteland Fire Company and mutual aid companies were dispatched to the 1300 block of Burke Road for a reported apartment fire. Crews arrived and quickly found the source to be a washing machine in the basement of the building. The building was ventilated and units cleared a short time later. Thank you to our mutual aid companies (Lionville Fire Company, Goshen Fire Company, East Brandywine Fire Company, First West Chester Fire Co., Engine Co. 51, Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute).

While returning to the station, members stopped by the West Chester Gun Club as they made a generous donation to the fire company. We are proud to serve such a supportive community!
