At 4:55 AM, the West Whiteland Fire Company was dispatched to the Devereux campus for an odor investigation inside. Chief 6, Engine 6-2, and Ladder 6 made the response. Crews searched the building and were unable to locate a source.

At 4:09 PM, units were dispatched to the Cambridge Chase development for a reported house fire. Chief 6, Deputy 6, Engine 6-1, Engine 6-2, and Ladder 6 all made the response. Upon arrival, crews determined the source to be electrical in nature, secured power to the building and checked for any other issues. Mutual aid companies were Station 47 (Lionville Fire Company), Station 46 (Minquas Fire Company No. 2), Station 51 (First West Chester Fire Co., Engine Co. 51), and Station 87 (Uwchlan Ambulance Corps). Thank you all for the help!

Shortly after clearing the house fire, units were dispatched to the area of E Lincoln Highway and Ship Road for a fuel spill. Crews arrived on scene, contained the spill, and mitigated all other hazards. Busy day so far for our members!
