Dispatch details: DUMP TRUCK WITH FLAMES COMING FROM BRAKES

On Friday afternoon the West Whiteland Fire Company was dispatched for a truck fire on Route 30.
The flames were present in the in the hay bales and machinery in the dump body of the truck.
Chief 6 arrived first on the scene followed by Engine 6-1 and then Engine 6-2 and finally Brush 6.
Crews quickly put the fire under control and performed overhaul to make sure that none of the remaining items would ignite.
Thanks to the Fire Police from Station 5 who provided traffic control for the incident.
Immediately following this incident Tower 6 was dispatched to Station 53 for a standby due to a barn fire.
