The West Whiteland Fire Company is pleased to announce that two of its members have graduated from the Montgomery and Chester County Fire Academy after the successful completion of the Fire Fighter 1 program.

The Firefighter I program is a 172 hour basic firefighting course. The goal of the course is to provide the basic knowledge and skills required to safely and effectively operate during incidents. The Firefighter 1 program includes Hazardous Material Awareness and Operations, CPR/AED, and Structural Burn and is the foundation for other certifications.
